For those of you in the dark, the guy in the ad is Jared Detter, who went to my church growing up and who is the Pastor’s son. What a strange experience to find him on the bottom of my facebook profile, in an advertisement.

My guess is that they or a friend uploaded the picture to a stock photo site or something. Jared is a striking fella.
